Join the dedicated team at Reflex Aerospace as an AOCS Engineer, where your expertise in Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS) will be instrumental in ensuring precise orbital positioning and satellite attitude control, a cornerstone of mission accuracy and success. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will analyze mission requirements to specify the AOCS system. You will be responsible for developing the ACS algorithms as well as for defining the ACS and OCS sensors and actuators. As an AOCS Engineer, you will have a significant impact on the spacecraft system design.
Your Mission:
- Develop and validate AOCS algorithms and models.
- Define technical requirements for AOCS sensors and actuators
- Support testing and integration of AOCS hardware and software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support for on-orbit operations and anomaly resolutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and test reports.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in AOCS design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and mission analysis.
- Good knowledge about typical AOCS sensors and actuators (including propulsion).
- Experience with state estimation, pointing analysis, and statistical error assessment is a big plus.
- Experience with control system design and mission analysis tools.
- Excellent English communication skills.
