As a Power System Engineer at Reflex Aerospace, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including spacecraft engineers, electrical engineers, and mission specialists, to integrate power supply requirements into the overall satellite architecture. Your expertise in specifying, designing, and validating robust satellite power systems, including solar arrays and power distribution systems, will be critical in ensuring continuous energy supply for mission operations.
Your Mission:
- Analysis of mission-specific power requirements
- Specification of power sub-systems including solar arrays, batteries, and power distribution systems.
- Conduct analysis to ensure power system performance throughout mission life.
- Support integration and testing activities to validate power system functionality.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and test reports.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure power system performance and reliability.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in power systems design and analysis.
- Deep knowledge of electrical power generation, distribution, and storage principles
- Good understanding of satellite subsystems
- familiarity with challenges and constraints specific to the space environment
- Excellent English communication skills.
