As a Satellite Software Architect, you will work on the design of cutting-edge satellite systems. In this role, you will work on defining mission-specific software requirements and their implementation. You'll integrate complex software of all the spacecraft subsystems. Your expertise will also be crucial in managing key external partnerships, ensuring our software solutions surpass reliability and performance expectations.
Your Mission:
- Design and develop software architectures for satellite systems.
- Provide expert software architecture guidance for spacecraft subsystems.
- Design, develop, and maintain software for spacecraft subsystems such as AOCS, Thermal Control, Telemetry/Tracking, and Command (TT&C).
- Integrate payload software into the spacecraft system.
- Design and development of satellite FDIR concept.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure software system performance and reliability.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in software engineering and architecture design.
- In-depth knowledge of real-time operating systems and Linux.
- Knowledge of satellite subsystems such as Attitude and Orbit Control System (AOCS), Thermal Control, and Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TT&C).
- Experience with NASA’s Core Flight System (CFS) is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills.
