Paris, France — OCTOBER 2025 — ThrustMe announces a strategic partnership with Reflex and Marble to validate its JPT150 electric propulsion system in orbit. Built for the industrialized space era, the JPT150 offers a compact and intelligent propulsion solution designed to support autonomous operations, precise maneuvering, and long-duration missions for modern satellite platforms.

Propulsion for an Evolving Space Ecosystem

The satellite industry is entering a new phase. Driven by demand for Earth observation, communications, and in-orbit services, satellites are now produced and launched at industrial scale. But with this growth come two linked challenges: scaling manufacturing while simplifying integration, and enabling automated and autonomous space operations with shorter command-to-maneuver timelines and reliable collision avoidance. Traditional propulsion systems, bulky, fragmented, and difficult to integrate, are no longer suited for this environment.

JPT150 – A Fully Integrated Electric Propulsion System

The JPT150 is ThrustMe’s recent electric propulsion solution, based on a Hall-effect thruster and fueled entirely by solid iodine. All critical subsystems are integrated into a single compact unit, including the thruster, iodine-compatible cathode, propellant storage and flow control, power processing, thermal management, and intelligent onboard software. The system leverages ThrustMe’s flight-proven iodine expertise and is designed to meet the delivery, integration, performance and autonomy requirements of industrial-scale satellite constellations.

Pre-fueled and ready to operate, the JPT150 simplifies logistics and eliminates the need for specialized propulsion handling. Its compact form factor reduces system volume, supporting more flexible satellite architectures, while its software enables automated and autonomous operations. Capable of precise maneuvers, station-keeping, and collision avoidance, the JPT150 supports long-duration missions while lowering total lifecycle costs. With production optimized for scale and sustainability, it is a strategic solution for both commercial and institutional satellite programs.

In-Orbit Validation with Reflex

The JPT150 has been integrated into a Reflex’s satellite, a partner focused on delivering responsive and flexible small satellite solutions. The propulsion system was selected to perform orbit-raising maneuvers, conduct station-keeping, and ensure collision avoidance. This mission, part of ThrustMe’s in-orbit demonstration campaign, allows Reflex to validate system performance and gain early access to next-generation propulsion capabilities.

The demonstration aligns with ThrustMe’s product rollout plan, which includes deliveries of preproduction JPT150 units and the launch of the first operational models by 2026.
