2024: A Year of Growth
Reflex Aerospace 2024 Year in Review: Building Momentum for Europe’s NewSpace Future
2024 was a defining year for Reflex Aerospace. One marked by rapid growth, major achievements, and a clear signal that Europe’s NewSpace revolution is accelerating. In just a few short years, Reflex has evolved from a bold startup into one of Europe’s most dynamic satellite manufacturers, driving innovation in responsive space capability and sovereign satellite design.
A Year of Growth and Expansion
In 2024, Reflex grew to more than 60 employees representing 18 nationalities, reflecting both the diversity and technical excellence that define Europe’s space ecosystem. The company expanded its footprint with a second office in Berlin and operational readiness of its Munich production facility; both key steps toward scaling agile, in-house satellite manufacturing.
Strengthening Partnerships and Industry Presence
Reflex’s presence in the global space industry reached new heights this year. The company secured multiple commercial contracts and forged strategic partnerships that strengthen its position as a European provider of custom, high-performance satellite platforms. Reflex’s growing influence was also recognized worldwide, with media coverage in international outlets and speaking invitations at industry events including World Space Business Week, the Munich NewSpace Summit, and the Taiwan Space Accelerator Plus Program.
Engineering Innovation and Mission Delivery
2024 also saw significant progress in Reflex’s research and mission execution. The company completed several European Space Agency (ESA) studies, including the FlatSat initiative and Generative AI for SATCOM Applications, while contributing to SmartSat SpaceLink, a responsive space demonstrator. These projects reflect Reflex’s commitment to cutting-edge satellite technology, AI-driven operations, and additive manufacturing, all aimed at delivering smarter, faster, and more flexible space assets.
One of the year’s proudest milestones was the shipment of SIGI, Reflex’s first satellite, to its launch site. This is a tangible testament to the company’s engineering excellence and ability to bring concepts from design to orbit.
A Stronger Reflex, A Stronger Europe
As Europe continues to invest in sovereign space capabilities, Reflex Aerospace is playing a pivotal role in defining what that future looks like. By combining German engineering precision, NewSpace agility, and collaborative innovation, Reflex is proving that Europe can lead in rapid, mission-ready satellite manufacturing.
Looking ahead to 2025, Reflex is poised for even greater impact by expanding production, deepening partnerships, and continuing to deliver European satellites built for speed, performance, and purpose.
